Interview 3 Question Approval

Interviwee: astronomy professor from citrus college(my options are open still)

10 QTS:

1.       What makes the field of astronomy different from other science subjects?
2.       Is it important to have a good partnership between your students? Why or Why not?
3.       What type of techniques should be used to teach an astronomy class?
4.       Material content changes every year in astronomy, therefore, how have you managed to adjust?
5.       How do you think students in your class learn best?
6.       Are you required to cover any specific standards given by the school for astronomy or do you choose what topics to teach? If so, why are those topics chosen?
7.       Do you have any specific way to organize your material? How or why not?
8.       Inquiry has been to be a teaching method that is important in every science class. Do you agree why or why not?
9.       When a student gives you a negative feedback after a lesson, what is your reaction towards it and how do you change it?

  1. 2. What do you mean by a good partnership? Between students? Or between teacher and students?

    Maybe have a picky "word nerd" friend look at some of these to clean them up a bit...it's generally clear what you mean, though.
